Metalis Engineering are currently working alongside a manufacturer in Sheffield who due to high demand are now looking for a CNC Machinist / Finishing Operative to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established industrial business offering a stable shift pattern, competitive rates of pay, and regular overtime opportunities.

• Operating CNC sanding and finishing machinery
• Loading and unloading metal products safely and efficiently
• Monitoring machine performance and making adjustments where required
• Conducting quality inspections to ensure products meet specification
• Using measuring equipment & power tools
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and health & safety
• Working to production targets while ensuring quality standards are met

• Previous experience operating CNC machinery, sanding, grinding, polishing, or finishing equipment
• Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Proficient with hand and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Consistent shift pattern: 2 days, 2 nights, Monday-Thursday
• Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday off
• Overtime available
