NC Machinist (Lathe) | Permanent Opportunity

We''re looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join a world class engineering & manufacturing business producing high-integrity engineered components. This role offers the opportunity to work with large-scale machining equipment in a quality-driven environment where safety, precision, and continuous improvement are at the heart of everything we do.

You''ll be involved in machining a variety of demanding materials, setting and operating CNC equipment, carrying out inspections, and ensuring components meet customer specifications. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys problem-solving, takes pride in their work, and thrives in a team-focused environment.

What You''ll Be Doing

• Setting and operating a range of CNC machining equipment
• Producing components to drawing and specification requirements
• Performing in-process inspections and quality checks
• Handling materials safely using lifting equipment
• Supporting machine upkeep through routine operator maintenance
• Contributing to process improvements and manufacturing efficiencies
• Working closely with colleagues to maintain production targets and quality standards

What We''re Looking For

• Previous experience in a CNC machining environment
• Strong understanding of machining principles and manufacturing processes
• Experience working with challenging materials and tight tolerances
• Ability to read engineering drawings and follow procedures
• A proactive approach to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
• Engineering qualifications or apprenticeship training would be advantageous
