CNC Machinist Poole, Dorset 17ph to 19ph Full Time A well-established precision engineering manufacturer based in Poole is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join its skilled workshop team. This is a hands-on role offering long-term stability, varied work, and opportunities to develop within a successful engineering business. The Role You will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC machinery to manufacture high-precision components, ensuring all work is completed to engineering drawings and the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities:Programming, setting, and operating XYZ CNC machines.Working on manual lathes and milling machines.Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.Selecting tooling, setting offsets, and proving out new programs.Manufacturing precision components to tight tolerances.Carrying out self-inspection throughout production using measuring equipment.Deburring and finishing components where required.Maintaining high standards of quality, housekeeping, and health and safety.What We''re Looking ForMinimum 3 years'' experience as a CNC Machinist.Experience programming, setting, and operating XYZ CNC machines, CNC lathes, and CNC mills.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.Experience working to tight tolerances.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.What''s On OfferCompetitive salary.Permanent full-time position (40 hours ..... full job details .....
