CNC Machinist

BasildonSalary - Negotiable DOE Monday - Friday days Your new role:Based in South Essex, you will be joining a well-known manufacturing company which specialises in the design, manufacturing, build and installation of automated machinery working in several industries.With a large order book and continuous projects for the next 3-6 years, this is an excellent time to join an ever-expanding business.The business now has an excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC Machinist with both setting and programming experience, ideally using HAAS or Heidenhain controls.Key Responsibilities and Duties:Machining low quantities of precision components - various metals and plasticsProducing components using existing programs, tooling and fixturesProgram and engineer, from scratch, new components using primarily online programming processes.Quality inspection and controlWork to engineering drawings This is just a summed-up list, and other duties will be required.Skills and Experience required:Solid mechanical/engineering knowledge, ideally with an engineering apprenticeship, including the reading of engineering drawings and model requirementsOffline programming knowledge is advantageousFamiliar with the use of Heidenhain/Haas controlFull knowledge of CNC workshop equipment, set, operate and programmeExperience of working to tight tolerances and quality-driven parts.What you need to do now if you''re interested in this role:Click ''apply now'' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV or ..... full job details .....
