Location: Great Yarmouth, Norfolk
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience) + attractive benefits package
Hours: Full-time, working rotating shifts between 6:00am and 10:00pm
  
We’re looking for a CNC Machinist with CNC turning experience, ideally with Mazak machinery and Mazatrol controls. Strong general CNC candidates with some Mazak exposure are also encouraged to apply.
  
Responsibilities:

• Set, operate, and program CNC turning machines
• Manufacture precision components (mainly Mazak)
• Read engineering drawings and CNC programs
• Carry out inspections using measuring equipment
• Maintain machines and ensure quality standards
• Troubleshoot issues and adjust tooling/programs
• Follow ISO9001, HSE, Lean, and 5S practices
• Keep accurate production records and support team workflow

  
Skills required:
Essential

• CNC turning experience
• Mazak and Mazatrol/Fanuc knowledge
• Ability to read drawings and work to tight tolerances
• Skilled with inspection tools
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail

Desirable

• Mazatrol programming
• Multi-axis CNC experience
• Knowledge of Lean/5S
• ISO9001 experience
