CNC Machinist Location: Stroud, Gloucestershire Hours: Double Day Shift or Permanent Nights Salary: 35,980 per annum Double Days 37,895 per annum Nights Type: Permanent Key Responsibilities of a CNC Machinist: Setting and operating CNC milling or turning machines to manufacture precision components Working from detailed engineering drawings and specifications Carrying out tool changes, offsets and basic programme edits where required Inspecting components using micrometers, verniers and other measuring equipment Ensuring components are manufactured to required tolerances and quality standards Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment Working closely with production and quality teams to meet production targets Supporting continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives Key Skills of a CNC Machinist: Previous experience as a CNC Machinist, CNC Setter/Operator or similar Experience with CNC milling or turning machinery Knowledge of Fanuc, Mazak or similar controls would be advantageous Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Flexible and reliable with the ability to work a double day shift pattern Benefits: Competitive salary dependent on experience Overtime available at enhanced rates Company pension scheme 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays Ongoing training and development opportunities Modern workshop environment with well-maintained machinery Free on-site parking Long-term permanent ..... full job details .....
