CNC Machinist

Our client, an aerospace component manufacturer based in Basildon are looking to hire a CNC Machinist who can set and operate CNC Turning machinery.

The role is paying up to -36,159 per annum. Overtime is x1.5 your hourly rate.

The hours for the role are Monday to Thursday 7am till 4pm and Friday 7.30am to 12.30pm. This is a 39 hour week.

CNC Machinist duties:-

• Set and operate CNC Turning / lathe machines
• Produce accurate and high quality parts
• Work to tight tolerances and quality check your own work
• Clean and maintain machinery
• Help with Continual improvements

Skills required:-

• You must be able to set and operate CNC Turning machines
• Have a good eye for detail
• Be able to use a variety of measuring equipment
• Able to interpret engineering drawings

This is a permanent position subject to the companies probation period.
