CNC Machinist

Do you have previous experience operating and setting CNC Machinery?

The Basics:

• CNC Machinist - Laser department
• Location: Redditch
• Shift: Monday to Wednesday 4:30pm to 2:30am and Thursdays 4:30pm to 1:30am (39hrs)
• Pay: -17.89/-36280 to -19.26/39059 dependent on experience + overtime = earnings of -45000 and upwards achievable.
• Overtime: available at 1.33 Mon-Fri, 1.5 Saturday and double time Sunday.
• Environment: Manufacturing - precision engineering
• Role: Permanent

Holidays/Benefits: holidays are calculated in hours but work out to be 5.6 weeks of annual leave per year inc. bank holidays, increasing to 6.6 weeks inc. bank holidays following 1 year of continuous service. Death in Service Benefit - 2 x annual salary. Employer 3% / Employee 5% - Pension.

Overview:

We now require a CNC Machinist to join the machining department that consists of CNC milling, CNC Turning, EDM machining, Laser machining etc.

As the CNC Machinist you will be tasked to produce precision engineered components working to tight tolerances.

The ideal candidate / CNC Machinist may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

• Time Served Apprenticeship - beneficial
• Competent at reading engineering drawings
• Previous experience working with CNC Machinery in a machine shop environment - training on laser machines can be given
