CNC Machinist

As a CNC Turner, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC lathes to perform precision turning operations. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Setup and Programming: Interpret engineering drawings, determine the necessary fixtures, tools, and attachments, and mount them to the CNC lathe. Write or modify CNC programs as required. Turning Operations: Adjust machine settings, such as speed, tooling, and cutting parameters, to ensure precision in turning operations. Monitor the process and address any issues immediately. Quality Control: Inspect finished components for accuracy and consistency, ensuring all products meet company quality standards. Machine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication, cleaning, and tool replacements, on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Health and Safety: Follow all safety guidelines and regulations, report potential hazards, and ensure the correct PPE is always worn.
