The CNC Machinist will be joining a skilled machine shop team with access to modern CNC machinery, working in an environment that values continuous improvement, quality safety and career development. Responsibilities of the CNC Machinist Setting and operating 3, 4 and 5 Axis vertical milling machines to manufacture precision components.Producing quality parts while maintaining accuracy throughout production runs.Preparing tooling, fixtures and job documentation before production.Carrying out routine machine maintenance.Operating more than one machine where appropriate.Inspecting components using CNC and manual CMM equipment.Ensuring all manufactured parts meet engineering drawings and quality standards.Identifying production or engineering issues and communicating with Team Leaders, Production Planning and Engineering.Following all Health and Safety procedures and supporting 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.
