The RoleYou will be responsible for manufacturing precision components and sub-assemblies using a range of CNC and manual machine tools, working from detailed engineering drawings and specifications. Key ResponsibilitiesSet, program, and operate CNC milling or turning machinesManufacture components in a low-volume, high-quality production environmentWork to engineering drawings and tight tolerancesModify or manufacture tooling including jigs, fixtures, and mouldsInspect and verify dimensions using precision measuring equipmentAchieve production targets in line with job requirementsAccurately log work times using ERP systemsContribute to continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiativesMaintain high standards of health and safety at all timesIdentify hazards and promote safe working practices within the workshop RequirementsEssential:Minimum 5 years'' experience in a CNC machining environmentProven experience operating CNC milling and/or turning machinesAbility to read and interpret ISO engineering drawingsExperience working to tight tolerancesCompetent using measuring equipment ..... full job details .....
