CNC Machine Operator

CNC Machine Operator Salary: 12.80 - 13.70 per hour We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Machine Operator to join a well-established manufacturing business specialising in the production of portable welfare accommodation units. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy machine shop environment where you''ll play a key role in the fabrication of light to medium gauge steel components, ensuring products are manufactured to high quality standards and production targets are met. Key Responsibilities: Operating CNC press brake machinery to cut and fold steel components. Working from CAD drawings to produce accurate folded parts. Loading and running machine programs, making adjustments where required. Carrying out quality inspections to ensure components meet specifications. Working efficiently within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Supporting production requirements while working independently and as part of a team. Skills and Experience: Previous experience operating Bystronic CNC Press Brakes or similar machinery is highly desirable. Ability to read and interpret engineering or CAD drawings. Experience within a sheet metal, fabrication, or manufacturing environment. Strong attention to detail and quality standards. Reliable, proactive, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
