CNC Machine Operator

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established precision engineering business based in Teesside, specialising in CNC machining of bespoke components for a wide range of industrial sectors. Operating medium to large batch production, our client is known for quality, reliability, and fast turnaround.

The role

• Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision components
• Work from engineering drawings and part set-up sheets
• Maintain tight tolerances and customer deadlines
• Carry out self-inspection using measuring equipment
• Monitor machine performance and carry out basic checks and adjustments

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CNC Machine Operator
• Experience with CNC turning and/or milling
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Good communication and teamwork skills
