We are looking for someone with the relevant experience in the following: Programming, setting, and operating a range of CNC machines (in particular Doosan VMC) Accurately setting machines right first time Carrying out self - inspection of work to ensure quality Working to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Suggesting and implementing improvements to existing machining techniques Maintaining alignment with company core values Supporting and mentoring apprentices Carrying out any other tasks in line with your skills and experience as needed Skills: Experience working with Siemens or Fanuc controls (Doosan VMC). Be able to read from drawings and responsible for the quality of your own work. Knowledge of offline programming with Edgecam preferred. Experience of working with a variety of materials (including plastics & aluminium & S/S).
