CNC Machinary & Equipment Technical Service Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are actively seeking an experienced and professional-CNC Machinary & Equipment Technical Support Engineer-to join the team in Warwickshire. The successful applicant will be required to carry out installations, service and breakdown requests, deliver first-class customer care and positively represent the ETG brand at all times. Development and training opportunities will be available.

RESPONSIBILITIES:-

• To communicate positively and efficiently with the Service Desk.
• To visit customer sites to install, service and repair machines.
• Leave jobs in full working order and liaise with customers.
• At customer sites, familiarise yourself with customer rules and working practices, including their health and safety policies.
• To feedback to the Service Desk problems/issues on site.
• When the job/customer dictates, there could be a requirement to lodge away from home.

REQUIREMENTS :-

• Ability to install, service and repair CNC machines and equipment
• Ability to fault find, diagnose and correct errors as identified on CNC machine tools.
• Ability to assemble, set up and dismantle hydraulic, pneumatic and large associated mechanical assemblies.
• A team player with the ability to work on own initiative and problem solve.
• Knowledge of part identification and understanding of engineering drawings.
• Mechanical and electrical qualifications/experience.
• PLC knowledge.
• Excellent customer service, communication and organisational skills.
• PC literate.
• Previous experience us essential of a service team environment.

Competitive Salary -26K to -39K (depending on Experience)

Hours : 38 Hours a week

Overtime : Time and a half Weekd days & Saturdays . Sundays Double Time
