Job Title: CNC Lathe Setter & Operator

Location: Wolverhampton

Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:30pm

Contract: Temp-to-Perm


 Pertemps Wolverhampton are recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering company for an experienced CNC Lathe Setter & Operator. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering long-term stability for the right candidate.

 
Key Responsibilities: 

•  Setting and operating CNC lathes to produce precision components
  
  

•  Working confidently from detailed engineering drawings
  
  

•  Using micrometers, gauges, verniers, and other measuring tools
  
  

•  Ensuring components meet tight tolerances and quality standards
  
  

•  Making minor program adjustments when required
  
  

•  Performing in-process inspections and completing documentation
  
  

•  Maintaining machines, tooling, and a clean working environment
  
  

 

 
Skills & Experience Required: 

•  Previous experience as a CNC Lathe Setter/Operator
  
  

•  Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
  
  

•  Confident using precision measuring equipment
  
  

•  Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  
  

•  Good understanding of tooling, speeds, and feeds
  
  

•  Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  
  

•  Reliable and quality-focused
