The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and operating a range of CNC lathes, producing high-quality components to the required specifications, tolerances and production timescales. Key Responsibilities You will set and operate a variety of CNC machinery, including Citizen sliding head machines, fixed-head twin turret lathes and CNC chucking lathes , with some programme editing where required. You will undertake batch production to meet agreed volume, cost and quality targets, working closely with colleagues to maintain an efficient production environment. The role will also involve carrying out first-off, last-off and routine inspections to ensure components consistently meet the required quality standards. You will be expected to maintain a right-first-time approach to production and quality, while following high standards of Quality, Health & Safety and housekeeping.
