Salary: £16.00 per hour DOE
Working Hours: Monday - Thursday 6:00am - 3:00pm | Friday 6:00am - 12:00pm
Overtime: Regular overtime available

We''re working with a well-established manufacturer that produces bespoke metal products for the Retail and Office Furniture sectors. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add an experienced Laser Setter / Operator to their production team in Knowsley.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and takes pride in producing quality work.

The Role

As a Laser Setter / Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and running laser cutting machinery, ensuring production runs efficiently and components are manufactured to specification.

Your duties will include:

• Setting and operating laser cutting machines
• Interpreting technical drawings and production paperwork
• Ensuring materials are correctly loaded and processed
• Monitoring machine performance and adjusting settings when required
• Checking finished parts for accuracy and quality
• Reporting any faults or production issues promptly
• Supporting continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives across the workshop
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures

What We''re Looking For

• Previous experience setting and operating laser cutting machinery
• Confidence reading and working from technical drawings
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality standards
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
