THE DUTIES Working to tight tolerances Producing high precision work Work with bespoke one-off components through to small batch production. Inspection skills, able to check own work. The role requires a flexible approach, and the willingness to undertake a variety of tasks to facilitate the quality and productivity. To have experience of using cylindrical grinders (universal) Knowledge of Surface grinding machines would be advantageous. Ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings. Experience in grinding different types of materials. ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES and SKILLS Minimum 2 years'' experience working within a high precision manufacturing background Excellent communication skills THE HOURS You will work a day shift - Monday-Thursday 7.30am-4pm / Friday 7.30am-1.30pm THE PAY You will earn an hourly rate of between 14 to 17.50 an hour depending on experience Benefits: - Permanent position. 25 days plus Bank Holidays.
