You will set and operate CNC grinding machines to produce high-quality aerospace components from various materials. This role demands precision, technical expertise, and a commitment to meeting stringent aerospace quality standards. If you thrive in delivering accurate work under pressure, this is an excellent opportunity to showcase your skills.Key Responsibilities CNC Grinder Set and operate CNC grinding machines (e.g., surface, cylindrical, or universal grinders) to produce precision aerospace components.Utilize pre-prepared process and tooling sheets with existing CNC programs.Perform occasional machine-side program editing to meet specific requirements.Operate conversational programming systems (e.g., Mazatrol or equivalent), with training provided if needed.Ensure programs run effectively to achieve tight tolerances and aerospace specifications.Conduct basic fault finding and maintenance on grinding machines to maintain optimal performance.Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures.Document processes accurately to comply with aerospace quality standards (e.g., AS9100).Support general workshop duties to ensure efficient operation of the grinding section.
