What you''ll be doing: Operate external CNC grinding machinery using MDI (Manual Data Input) Perform surface grinding and thread grinding in line with Manufacturing Instructions, specifications and customer/regulator requirements Interpret engineering drawings and follow process layout/documentation procedures Deliver to tight aerospace tolerances and surface finish requirements Complete OCQ (Operator Control of Quality) checks (including stamping to confirm quality to Honeywell and customer standards) Work effectively in a lean environment to support on-time delivery Maintain consistently high standards of Health and Safety Contribute to a customer-focused culture and achieve production targets What you''ll bring: Knowledge of grinding tolerances/finishes to aerospace standards (including very fine diameter tolerances and micro-inch surface finishes) Experience using hand measuring equipment such as digital micrometers, comparators, air plug gauges and surface finish measuring ..... full job details .....
