The CNC Grinder will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality production of critical components. Key Responsibilities: Operate a Waldrich Coburg Large Surface Grinder with Siemens 840D control, ensuring consistent high-quality production.Produce complex components to drawing specifications, handling weights ranging from 25kg to 12,000kg.Interpret engineering drawings to ensure parts are produced accurately.Apply knowledge of material characteristics and machining methods to optimize productivity.Work with minimal supervision, effectively planning workloads to meet production targets.Foster a ''Right First Time'' mindset in a quality-driven environment.Adhere to the highest health and safety standards while performing duties. Qualifications: Experience in operating medium to large surface grinders is preferred; however, training will be provided to the successful candidate.Proficiency in setting components, composite grinding wheels, jigs, and fixtures.Strong ability to use measuring equipment to maintain drawing specifications.Time-served apprenticeship certification is desirable.
