A specialist in Motorsport and Aerospace are looking to extend their team and are looking for an experienced CNC Cylindrical Grinder.

Position- CNC Cylindrical Grinder

Under the direction of the supervisor, the CNC Cylindrical grinder sets up, adjusts, and operates a variety of cylindrical grinding equipment to grind gears and gear shafts having very tight tolerances and finish requirements according to specified dimensions and company quality standards.

Skilled Cylindrical Grinder''s Responsibilities:

• Minimum 3 years of trades training or equivalent experience and two to four years of related machining experience with cylindrical grinding.
• Have experience working on sub .005mm tolerance.
• Work from detailed drawings, process sheets, tooling instructions, and standard charts to identify component/manufacturing specifications.
• Enter data into ERP system.
• Must have extensive knowledge of Cylindrical Grinding processes.
• Able to operate multiple machines and have experience with Jones and Shipman machinery.
• Compute such data as dimensions, rotation speeds, feed rates, and machining times.
