Brake Press / Roller OperatorLocation: DorkingJob Type: Permanent, Full TimeSalary: Up to £15.09 per hour plus 20% shift allowance, depending on experience and skills.About the RoleOur client is seeking an experienced Brake Press / Roller Operator to join their established manufacturing team in Dorking. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a permanent position within a successful engineering business, working with modern CNC equipment in a clean, safety-focused production environment.The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and operating CNC brake presses and powered rollers to manufacture high-quality stainless steel and mild steel components, ensuring production targets and quality standards are consistently achieved.Working HoursThis is a 40-hour per week position working a rotating double-day shift pattern:Week 1 (Early Shift): Monday to Friday, 5:45am - 1:45pmWeek 2 (Late Shift): Monday to Friday, 2:15pm - 10:15pmA paid 30-minute break is included each day.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC brake presses to manufacture components to specification.Set up and operate CNC plate rollers.Interpret engineering drawings and programme machinery accordingly.Programme Bystronic laser machines when required.Carry out self-inspection of completed parts to ensure they meet drawing and quality requirements.Perform daily safety and machine checks before operation.Work efficiently to meet production schedules and quality standards.Report any quality, ..... full job details .....
