CNC and Toolroom MachinistLocation: SittingbourneSalary: Competitive (dependent on experience)We are currently recruiting for a CNC and Toolroom Machinist to join an established engineering team based in Sittingbourne. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced machinist to work within a busy toolroom environment, operating specialist machinery and producing high-quality components.The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Toolroom team, setting and operating CNC machinery, and developing their skills across a range of machining processes. You will also become a key point of contact for CNC machining activities, supporting continuous improvement and the introduction of new equipment and processes.Key Responsibilities:Set, operate and program CNC machinery including lathes, EDM and 5-axis machines.Manufacture high-quality components using manual and specialist machining equipment.Support the Toolroom team with engineering activities and production requirements.Assist with the development of CNC processes, jigs and fixtures to improve productivity.Carry out maintenance, corrective and remedial work on machinery where required.Manage works orders, stock control and support production planning.Ensure all work is completed to required quality standards, within agreed timescales.Maintain accurate production documentation and support ISO 9001 quality requirements.Promote a safe, clean and efficient working environment.Skills and Experience ..... full job details .....
