The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in complex multi-axis machining, with a strong focus on high-tolerance components. This is a hands-on role requiring full ownership of the machining process from offline programming and process development through to machine set-up, prove out and production optimisation. You will be required to develop and optimise 5-axis CNC programs using CAM software. Interpret complex engineering drawings, CAD models and GD7T specifications. Select appropriate cutting strategies, tooling and machining parameters. Generate collsion-free toolpaths and simulate full machine kinematics. Edit and optimise G-code directly at the machine where required.
