Job Description Setting and operating large Versatech 5 Axis machining centres. Producing a wide and varied range of highly toleranced parts used in the manufacture of Mazak CNC machines. Understanding CNC controls and being able to program, edit and improve existing and new parts. Working as part of a team of fellow engineers while adhering to strict health and safety guidelines. Contributing to a positive workplace culture by engaging in HandS improvements and Kaizen initiatives. Essential Criteria Solid understanding and experience of operating CNC-controlled machining centres. Demonstrable experience of safely using CNC controls. A positive, can-do attitude. Previous experience working as part of a team within a busy manufacturing environment. Desirable Criteria Experience programming from engineering drawings using Mazatrol CNC controls. Mechanical Engineering apprenticeship, HNC or equivalent qualification. Shift Pattern: The role will operate on a continental shift pattern following a period of training on double-day shifts.
