The Best Connection is recruiting for an experienced CNC 5 Axis Miller Programmer for our Wolverhampton based client Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: 41,000 - 41,600 per yearWorking Hours: 08:00 -16:30 Monday-Friday The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting and operating 5-axis CNC milling machines to manufacture high-quality precision components to tight tolerances. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled machinist/programmer who takes pride in producing accurate work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key ResponsibilitiesProgram, set, and operate CNC 5-axis milling machinesCreate and optimise CNC programs using CAM softwareRead and interpret engineering drawings and technical specificationsManufacture components to tight tolerances and quality standardsSelect appropriate tooling, fixtures, and machining methodsPerform first-off inspections and in-process quality checksTroubleshoot machining and programming issuesMaintain a clean and safe working environmentWork closely with production and engineering teams to improve efficiencyRequirementsProven experience programming and operating CNC 5-axis milling machinesStrong knowledge of CNC controls and CAM softwareAbility to read and interpret technical engineering drawingsExperience working to tight tolerancesStrong understanding of tooling, feeds, and speedsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamGood attention to detail and problem-solving skillsPreferred ..... full job details .....
