CMM Programmer

Morson is partnering with the UK''s leading Defence Manufacturer to recruit a CMM Programmer to join their team at the Warton site. 12-month contract £24.78 per hour (PAYE) or £33.24 per hour (Umbrella) Full-time, on-site role BPSS clearance with SC in progress Inside IR35 Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will undertake a range of tasks aligned with the level of this role, including but not limited to: Possessing a minimum of an HNC or recognised apprenticeship in Manufacturing Engineering. Demonstrating strong knowledge and experience of fundamental manufacturing processes and engineering principles. Experience in machining-related manufacturing processes. Proficiency with Engineering Toolsets such as CATIA V5, PLM (or equivalent Product Data Management systems), SAP CAM, SFM (Shop Floor Manager), CDP, and VAS. Basic operation of CATIA V5 and Siemens NX LK CAMIO Inspection or equivalent, including Siemens DPV. Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GDandT) in accordance with ISO and ASME standards. Proven ability to manage development and implementation activities effectively. Competence in managing projects within cost and schedule constraints. Capability to respond to unplanned events and meet tight deadlines. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all organisational levels.
