Cmm Programmer

Our global engineering client based in West Lothian is seeking an experienced CMM Programmer to join its inspection team within a fast-paced machining environment.

This is a hands-on role focused on dimensional inspection of complex machined components, supporting production through accurate measurement, programme development and quality reporting.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

• Programming, modifying and verifying CMM programmes for new and existing components

• Carrying out dimensional inspection of precision machined parts

• Performing manual inspection of first-off and production components

• Producing accurate dimensional reports and first-off documentation

• Generating and managing non-conformance reports

• Maintaining inspection records and programme control

• Communicating inspection findings clearly to production and quality teams

This role sits at the centre of quality and manufacturing and will suit someone who enjoys working closely with the shop floor and taking ownership of inspection standards.
