Our client is currently looking for a CMM Mechanical Inspector to join their busy and expanding team. The CMM Mechanical Inspector will be responsible for the efficient inspection and verification of precision machined components ensuring adherence to customer specification.Key Responsibilities for the CMM Mechanical InspectorFirst off inspection of machined components and complex assemblies to drawings and CAD data.Complete final inspection and AS9100 first article inspection sheets as required documenting product conformity.Maintain a working knowledge of quality assurance procedure requirements as they apply to inspection and manufacturing operations.Document nonconforming product as required by internal and/or customer requirements.Perform all functions of a Quality Control Inspector as required by workload and production schedule needsKey Experience for the CMM Mechanical InspectorSound understanding of inspection of machined parts whilst employing a wide range of measurement techniques (CMM, vision CMM, Shadow Graph, etc.)Good knowledge of GD and T, SPC and the requirements of ISO 9001Experience with PC-DMIS and/or Zeis Calypso softwareMachining shop experience with various aluminium alloys, steel and titanium is strongly desiredPlease apply as ..... full job details .....
