CMM Inspector Location: Lymington, Hampshire Hours: 39 hours per week permanent day shift Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience TXM Recruit is working in partnership with a leading precision engineering business to recruit an experienced CMM Inspector for its manufacturing facility in Lymington. Part of an international, FTSE-listed engineering group, the company manufactures complex precision components, assemblies and kit sets for the aerospace, defence, nuclear, marine, energy and land systems sectors. This is an excellent opportunity to join an AS/EN 9100-certified engineering environment equipped with modern manufacturing and inspection technology. The Role As a CMM Inspector, you will ensure precision-engineered components conform to engineering drawings, specifications and customer requirements. Working closely with the Quality and Production teams, your responsibilities will include: Inspecting precision components using CMM and manual inspection equipment Adjusting, proving out and, where required, writing CMM programs Performing in-process, first-off and final inspections Operating and multisetting CMM equipment Interpreting complex engineering drawings, specifications, tolerances and GDandT requirements Completing inspection records, quality reports, production control plans and FAIR documentation Raising non-conformance reports and supporting corrective-action investigations Reviewing supplier documentation and escalating quality concerns to the ..... full job details .....
