Quality Inspector / CMM ProgrammerTamworth Permanent Days Shorterm Group are currently recruiting for an experienced Quality Inspector / CMM Programmer to join a well-established precision engineering manufacturer supplying complex components into highly regulated industries including aerospace, defence, motorsport and advanced engineering. This is an excellent opportunity for a quality-focused professional with strong inspection experience and CMM programming capability to join a growing business that invests heavily in quality, technology and its people. The Role:Working within the Quality department, you will be responsible for carrying out first-off, in-process and final inspections on precision-manufactured components, ensuring all products meet customer and industry requirements. The successful candidate will be a hands-on quality professional who can confidently interpret engineering drawings, program and operate CMM equipment, and support manufacturing teams with technical inspection expertise. Key Responsibilities:- Conduct first-off, in-process and final inspections of precision-engineered components- Program and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs)- Interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications- Produce and support First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs)- Use a variety of inspection and metrology equipment including:Micrometers, Surface testers, Contour tracers, Gear measurement equipment- Maintain accurate quality documentation and inspection ..... full job details .....
