Club Secretary - The Turf Club - Salary: c£100,000

A rare opportunity to lead one of London''s most prestigious and historic private members'' clubs. Founded in 1861 and located at the iconic 5 Carlton House Terrace, the Club is renowned for its heritage, exceptional membership and deep connections to the horse racing community. Reporting to the Chairman and working closely with the Management Committee, the Club Secretary is the chief executive of the Club, responsible for its overall operation, membership, finances, staff, facilities and strategic development. The role combines governance, operational leadership and member engagement, ensuring the highest standards of service whilst preserving the Club''s traditions and reputation. Key Responsibilities Lead the day-to-day management of the Club and its staff. Manage membership administration, member relations and Club events. Oversee budgets, financial reporting and commercial performance. Support the Chairman, Management Committee and governance processes. Ensure excellence in hospitality, facilities management, compliance and health and safety. Coordinate the Club''s racing activities, syndicate operations and flagship events.
