Club Engagement and Programme Officer Salary / Hours: £28,000 to £30,000 per annum / 37.5 hours per week (Evening/weekend work required) Location: House of Sport, Belfast / Hybrid (with travel throughout Northern Ireland) Reports to: Head of Operations Contract: Annual contract, subject to continued funding. Basketball N.I. ("BNI") is the governing body for basketball in Northern Ireland. The objectives of BNI are to advance, encourage, promote, develop, manage and govern basketball in Northern Ireland. BNI operates within the overall framework of Basketball Ireland, to whom BNI is affiliated. BNI is a registered Charity with our mission to ''Grow the game in all its forms, support a passionate basketball community and provide a pathway for every person to have a positive life-long relationship with our sport.'' Role Purpose The Club Engagement and Programme Officer is a key member of BNI''s operational team and a primary connection between BNI and key stakeholders such as; affiliated clubs, members, volunteers, partner organisations, participants, funding bodies and schools. The role combines: regular and transparent club communication, engagement, development and competition while seeking to enhance the effectiveness and governance of our member organisations; and delivery of participation programmes, workforce development, budget and funder accountability, data and reporting, and digital communications.
