Cloud Solutions Engineer

The Woodland Trust is looking for a Cloud Solutions Engineer to act as technical lead on cloud infrastructure and systems, to enable the completion of projects and improvements in the Digital Enablement technology portfolio. The Role: Provide technical leadership and expertise for cloud infrastructure and systems, supporting the successful delivery of projects, service improvements and operational objectives. Ensure cloud infrastructure and solutions remain secure, resilient and compliant with relevant legislation, regulatory requirements, standards and organisational policies. Provide expert support for complex infrastructure and cloud-related incidents, taking ownership of troubleshooting, root cause analysis and issue resolution where required. Identify and implement opportunities to improve service quality, reliability, performance and operational efficiency, including the delivery of cost-saving initiatives. Lead technical reviews, workshops and discussions with stakeholders, project teams and working groups, providing guidance throughout requirements gathering, solution design and implementation. Work with third-party suppliers and technical partners to support solution delivery, service improvements and issue resolution. This is a hybrid position with a mix of home working and from our head office in Grantham, Lincolnshire. Head office attendance would be required once a month on average.
