Miro’s Cloud Security team plays a critical role in ensuring the security, resilience, and integrity of Miro’s platform infrastructure. We are entrusted with protecting information assets and the collaborative experiences that enable our global customers to innovate with confidence. Operating as part of the broader Infrastructure organization, the Cloud Security team partners closely with key engineering groups including Networking, Compute, and Observability to embed security deeply across Miro’s cloud environment. The team also maintains alignment with peers in the Security organization—such as Application Security and Detection and Response—to ensure a unified and strategic approach to securing our platform. Miro aims for an industry-leading security posture through proactive governance frameworks, robust assurance and certification programs, and a long-term strategy anchored in automation, scalability, and risk-informed decision-making.About The Role

Seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to join our Cloud Security team. Your cloud and automation skills, combined with a passion for security, will shape our cloud security and automation capabilities. Cloud-native expertise is essential, given Miro''s 100% cloud-based presence, and SaaS industry experience is a strong plus.As a Cloud Security Engineer, your primary focus will be to develop and execute strategies for increasing the security of our cloud platform and automate efforts to do this at scale while maintaining high compliance standards.What You’ll Do

Propose, design, implement and maintain cloud and infrastructure-related security controls and solutionsPerform security audits of the cloud, infrastructure and data securityPerform security reviews (architecture review, design review, code review) of the cloud, containers and infrastructure changesWork closely with DevOps/SRE teams to provide security expertiseBuild automation to perform security and compliance at scale in the cloudOversee the monitoring of Cloud security posture, ensuring vulnerabilities are managed properly while reducing risks in our cloud configurationsWhat You’ll Need

Experience in a cloud-native environment and automationExperience designing, implementing and managing security capabilities at scale5+ years AWS, 3+ years IaC (Terraform) and automation (Python) experienceWAF, IaC, SCPs, Secrets ManagementKubernetes5-8 years of experience within Cloud SecurityExperience working within SaaS companiesExperience with incident handling and on-callWhat’s In It For You
