Infrastructure Engineer - Chippenham (2 days a week) - Up to -55k + Bonus + Benefits
I''m seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer for a well-established organisation. They have undergone a significant digital transformation journey and looking for someone to join the team, working across high level BAU and projects. They''re investing heavily in modern cloud infrastructure with Azure and need someone to manage this transition.
Key responsibilities for the Infrastructure Engineer:
- Working across global teams to design, develop, and maintain secure cloud services
- Working across projects, systems maintenance, and support
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to improve IT service delivery and system availability
- Leading infrastructure upgrades and Azure-based deployments
- Driving automation, performance, and scalability across a diverse technical environment
As the Infrastructure Engineer, you will have:
- Strong experience across escalated support tickets within enterprise environments
- Proven track record in delivering cloud-focused IT projects
- Azure architecture, design, and security knowledge
- Windows Server 2016+, O365, SharePoint, Exchange experience
- Scripting and automation knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, etc.)
- Firewall, VPN, and secure service edge understanding
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate tech deliverables
