Duration: 6 monthsLocation: Sunderland, 3 days per week onsiteBasis: Outside IR35Rate: DOE Are you an experienced Infrastructure Engineer with a background in delivering cloud and data centre migrations, whilst securing key vulnerabilities? Are you technically strong with hands on experience of Azure, Windows Server and IaC? If so, apply now. The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will join a dynamic team at a time of major modernisation and transformation, with responsibility for providing hands-on technical support to drive the cloud and data centre migration activities. This will include: Supporting migration of datacentre-hosted workloads into Azure, assisting with planning, build, testing and production cutover activitiesSupport landing zone, networking and infrastructure configurationAssist with application and server migration activitiesSupport supplier engagement and technical validation activities.Review and remediation of high-priority vulnerabilities identified through pen testing activityImplement remediation activities across server and infrastructure platformsValidate controls through testing and evidence collection The successful Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will have the following skills: Azure Cloud (IaaS/PaaS, networking, identity, monitoring).Infrastructure-as-Code: Terraform, ARM, PowerShell automation.Windows Server, Active Directory/Entra ID, Group Policy.Backup and restore Solutions e.g. Veeam, CommVault.SQL Server, Azure SQL, backups, HA/DR.Monitoring: ..... full job details .....
