This is an exciting opportunity to join the global Cloud Engineering Chapter to transform the financial operations of our team through establishing a FinOps approach to cost management. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical and financial skills, and the ability to apply technical expertise to drive our commercial and financial position.Establish and implement a FinOps approach to cost managementMonitor and analyze cloud usage and platform consumption costs to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savingsCollaborate with cross-functional teams including Architecture, Engineering, and Product to promote a cost-conscious mindset and achieve financial goalsManage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for Cloud Engineering servicesGenerate regular, accurate reports to promote cost transparencyImplement and maintain financial controls and procedures to ensure data accuracy and integrityDrive continuous improvement initiatives for financial processes and systemsProvide insights and technical recommendations to leadership on cloud financial performance and strategic initiativesLead technical delivery of cost optimization initiatives to implementationCollaborate with vendors to optimize product use and identify efficiencies in tooling strategy and roadmapWho You AreProven experience in financial operations, cloud cost management, or related rolesAdvanced knowledge of cloud financial principles and practicesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience creating and managing digital dashboards (e.g., PowerBI)Proficiency with cloud financial management tools (e.g., AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management, Google Cloud Billing)Good technical knowledge of Cloud and DevOps tools, with a passion for technologyExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work independently and collaborativelyStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsSuperior reporting skills, including executive reportingBachelor''s degree in Finance, Computer Science, or related fieldFinOps Certified Practitioner preferredNot a perfect fit?Worried you don’t meet all the criteria?
