Cloud Engineer (Python)

About the Role We are looking for a skilled AWS Cloud and Python Engineer to join our team, bridging the gap between application development and cloud infrastructure. In this role, you will own the full lifecycle of data transformation applications - writing clean, efficient Python code and designing the AWS infrastructure required to run it seamlessly. Working closely with our existing cloud engineers, you will focus on building, modernising, and deploying scalable data processing applications. The ideal candidate thrives on end-to-end ownership, using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) to deploy cost-effective, high-performance AWS architectures that handle large-scale data efficiently. If you re passionate about solving complex problems and eager to leverage the latest AWS technologies, we d love to hear from you! Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Location: This role offers the flexibility to be performed either remotely or on a hybrid basis from our Head Office in Exeter. For candidates who are not based locally to Exeter, we are ideally seeking attendance at the office every two to three weeks to support team meetings, collaboration and relationship building.
