      <description>Location: Glasgow | Salary: &amp;pound;502/day | Type: Contract | Job Title: Cloud Engineer - GCP, Python, Terraform    Location: Glasgow    Experience: 8-10 years       Role Summary   We are looking for a skilled Cloud Engineer with deep experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Python, and Terraform to support a large-scale Google Cloud enablement initiative. This role will focus on building secure, scalable, and automated cloud foundations, enabling Vertex AI services, provisioning delivery environments, and implementing the target-state operating model across people, process, and technology.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for engineering reusable cloud infrastructure, automating platform provisioning, embedding governance and controls, and enabling high-quality, production-ready GCP services for enterprise AI/ML workloads.        Key Responsibilities    Design, build, and automate GCP infrastructure using Terraform and Python.  Provision and manage cloud environments required for the program, including Production.  Develop reusable infrastructure modules, templates, and engineering patterns for scalable GCP adoption.
