Cloud Engineer

We''re working with a growing technology business looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer to join its infrastructure team in a fully remote position. Alongside the salary, the role comes with an excellent benefits package, including an annual performance bonus of up to 10%. This is a hands-on role working within a predominantly Microsoft Azure environment, supporting business-critical production systems and helping improve the reliability, scalability and performance of the platform. The main technologies they''re looking for are Azure, Kubernetes, Linux and MongoDB, alongside a wider background across cloud infrastructure, automation, monitoring and production support. Responsibilities: Managing, maintaining and improving Azure cloud infrastructure Supporting Kubernetes / AKS and containerised environments Working across Linux production systems Supporting environments using MongoDB / NoSQL Monitoring infrastructure performance, availability and capacity Troubleshooting complex cloud and infrastructure issues Supporting incidents and carrying out root-cause analysis Managing upgrades, patching and security updates Using automation and Infrastructure as Code to improve environments Working closely with development and wider technical teams Key Skills: Microsoft Azure - VMs, AKS, App Services and Storage Kubernetes Linux MongoDB / NoSQL Azure DevOps and CI/CD Terraform and/or Ansible PowerShell, Python and/or Bash Monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Prometheus or ..... full job details .....
