Cloud Architect

Cloud Architect Location: Surrey, with regular visits to customer sites Are you an experienced Cloud Architect with a strong background in AWS and secure, business critical environments? We are working on an opportunity for a Cloud Architect to join a specialist technology organisation delivering complex solutions across highly secure and technically demanding environments. This is a hands on architecture role combining technical leadership, customer engagement and the delivery of secure, scalable cloud solutions. You will help shape cloud strategies, guide implementation and ensure infrastructure meets demanding requirements around security, resilience, performance and cost. The Role As Cloud Architect, you will: • Develop and maintain cloud architecture strategies, standards and best practices, with a focus on AWS. • Design secure, scalable, highly available and resilient cloud solutions. • Lead the implementation of cloud infrastructure, automation and migration projects. • Establish and maintain cloud governance, including security controls, identity and access management, compliance and cost optimisation. • Assess existing infrastructure, identify technical risks and recommend improvements. • Work closely with customers and technical teams throughout the delivery of cloud based solutions. • Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering, development and operational teams. • Drive continuous improvements in cloud performance, reliability and automation.
