Clinical University Supervisor

Randstad Student Support is seeking an experienced, fully qualified practitioner to deliver reflective group clinical supervision for the internal Student Mental Health and Wellbeing team at the University of Southampton. This role plays a vital part in supporting practitioner wellbeing, professional practice, and emotional resilience across a dedicated team of student support professionals. About the Role As a Staff Supervisor, you will provide structured group and individual reflective supervision for approximately 45 staff members within the university''s mental health and wellbeing services. Supervision is delivered in small cohorts to encourage peer reflection, emotional support, and professional growth. The focus of this supervision is non-clinical case reflection, practitioner self-care, complex case management oversight, and ethical practice within the higher education context. Key Responsibilities Deliver Reflective Supervision: Facilitate high-quality group and 1-to-1 virtual or on-campus supervision sessions for university mental health advisers and support staff. Promote Practitioner Wellbeing: Create a safe, confidential, and supportive environment to discuss emotional casework impact, burnout prevention, and resilience strategies. Maintain Professional and Ethical Standards: Guide supervisees in navigating professional boundaries, ethical considerations, and multi-agency support pathways in accordance with professional body frameworks.
