      <description>Location: Northampton | Salary: 10000-500000 Annual | Type: Permanent | We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Trustee to join the Board of the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association at a pivotal time for the MND community. Advances in scientific understanding, growing public awareness and increasing collaboration across healthcare, research and policy are creating new opportunities to improve lives today and accelerate progress towards effective treatments for tomorrow. Our strategy sets out an ambitious agenda across three core impact goals: Tomorrow''s Treatments: accelerating progress towards effective treatments and earlier diagnosis. My Support, My Way: ensuring people affected by MND have the information, support and choice they need and Influencing High-Quality Care: driving consistent, high-quality care and tackling inequalities in access and outcomes. Alongside this, the Association is increasing its research ambition, with the aim of spending £20 million a year on research by 2030.
