Knowledge and skills

To have a degree or other recognised qualification in occupational therapyHPC RegisteredPost graduate specialist experience in palliative care as demonstrated by ongoing CPDSpecialist knowledge and experience of a wide range of approaches to the management of conditions, including advanced clinical reasoning and treatment skillsExperience of teaching and presenting to other staffExperience of supervising and developing other staff and studentsKnowledge of Clinical Governance and its implications for the occupational therapy service and palliative careExperience of a range of health settingsCommunication

Excellent communication skills, including the ability to process and share complex informationAble to pass on specialist skills/knowledge to others within formal and informal settings, including multidisciplinary groupsTraining and Presentation skillsDisclosure and Barring Service Check
