Clinical Skills Trainer

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Skills Trainer to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract (2 days per week: Mondays and Tuesdays), delivering training to one of our valued NHS clients in the North West. The Role You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, hands-on clinical skills training sessions in partnership with the trust s internal team. The role requires a strong understanding of: • Anatomy and physiology of the vascular system • Safe and accurate IV placement (supported by manikin training) • Venepuncture and IV cannulation techniques • Common clinical pitfalls and best practices in a real-world setting This is a hands-on role requiring someone who can confidently deliver training with minimal onboarding you will receive two shadow sessions before taking the lead. What We re Looking For We are seeking candidates with: • A strong clinical background in ICU, Vascular Access, or Phlebotomy • Registration as a Nurse, Midwife, ODP, or Paramedic • Teaching or supervisory experience (ideally holding a Level 3 teaching qualification such as AET or PTLLS) • Practical experience using a range of equipment (particularly BD Nexiva/Posiflush and Monovette systems) • Excellent communication, adaptability, and a high degree of autonomy How to Apply If you re a passionate educator who thrives in a clinical environment and can hit the ground running, we want to hear from you.
