Provide a wide range of clinical duties, oversee prescribing and wellbeing clinics, complete audits and support safeguarding.Take the lead for aspects of clinical governance of the service and oversee some key performance indicators (KPIs).Lead your team to deliver high standards by providing clinical supervision to nurses, completing appraisals, delivering training and ensuring all practice aligns with the clinical code of conduct.Deliver a level of clinical interventions reflecting a high level of clinical skills and expertise.Act as an inspiring role model; engage and influence colleagues, commissioners and service users alike.Apply working knowledge of safeguarding, substance misuse issues and related legislation; recognise indicators of substance misuse and issues faced by service users.Where not already qualified, pursue appropriate qualifications with support (e.g., Nurse Prescribing or equivalent) as part of ongoing development.Qualifications and experience
Experience in a drug and alcohol setting is required.Strong ability to build relationships with colleagues, commissioners and service users.Confident in engaging and influencing people; good safeguarding knowledge and understanding of substance misuse issues and legislation.High level of clinical experience in the problematic substance use field; willingness to pursue required qualifications with support where needed.Organisation and values
