Clinical Negligence Solicitor

HarKaye are representing a highly regarded law firm who are seeking a-Clinical Negligence Solicitor-to join their dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Newly Qualified Solicitor (or above) with a genuine passion for clinical negligence to take on a varied and rewarding caseload, working on matters of differing complexity and value across medical, dental, and wider clinical injury claims.
The Role
You will manage your own caseload of both pre-litigated and litigated files, including Fast Track and Multi-Track matters. The role requires strong technical expertise, excellent client care skills, and the ability to work effectively within a busy team environment.
Key Responsibilities

• Handling a varied caseload of Clinical Negligence files (pre-litigated and litigated).
• Applying a strong understanding of litigation, complex clinical negligence, and the Civil Procedure Rules.
• Drafting court documents and preparing cases for hearings.
• Demonstrating strong advocacy, fact-finding, and decision-making skills.
• Maintaining excellent client relationships and delivering high levels of service.
• Working to agreed targets and deadlines, ensuring both quality and efficiency.
• Operating in line with compliance standards and managing risk effectively.
• Building strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and external agencies.

About You

• NQ Solicitor (or above) with a genuine interest in Clinical Negligence.
• Strong technical knowledge of litigation and the CPR.
• Excellent drafting and advocacy skills.
• Commercially aware, proactive, and results-driven.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Experience using case management systems (ideally Proclaim).
• A team player with excellent client care skills and a commitment to delivering results.
